The WaterPort  Weekender is a self-pressurizing tank that comes with a  generous 8-gallon capacity. Perfect for camping, trips, or off-roading, it's versatile and easy to mount on your roof rack. 

How to set up WaterPort  Weekender

Setting up the WaterPort Weekender involves a few key steps for a successful installation: 

• Gather the Provided Hardware: It comes with two mounting brackets and hardware to secure the tank to your roof rack. You must install these brackets to the side rails, offering an aerodynamic setup.

• Assess and Adjust Your Roof Rack: If you have a roof rack with T-slotted rails, the brackets should work seamlessly. 

However, if it does not have slotted rails, you may need to make additional adjustments according to the mounting process. For example, if your vehicle has racks with metal mesh bases without slotted rails, you can purchase nylon lock nuts and bolts from a hardware store to secure the brackets. 

• Secure the Tank: Ensure everything is tightly fastened, as the tank needs to stay securely in place during your adventures.

• Additional Considerations (Conversion Kit): You may also require a conversion kit with a standard two-bar roof rack setup. This kit allows you to adapt the tank for non-slotted racks. It is an optional step.

You have two options to fill the tank:

• The first method uses a standard garden hose or a nearby water spigot. Simply attach the hose to the tank's quick-connect fitting.
• The second method involves using a Schrader valve. 

Pressurizing the Tank:

• If you use a garden hose or spigot for filling, the tank will pressurize automatically as it fills without manual pressurization.
• If you opt for the Schrader valve, attach a compressor and follow the instructions for your specific pump to pressurize the tank. 

Connecting the Hose and Nozzle:

Once the tank is filled and pressurized, you can attach the given hose to the on/off valve on the WaterPort Weekender. Ensure it's securely connected.

Choosing the Spray Setting:

The included high-pressure spray nozzle offers multiple settings for various uses. Depending on your needs, you can select the appropriate spray pattern: -

Getting Ready to Use
